On Saturday 23 September 2023, the students of the 4th professional Master's course in Protected Area Management and Biosphere Reserve Management at ERAIFT paid an educational visit to the Muanda Serpentarium, as part of the course on the development, management and budgeting of protected areas (terrestrial and aquatic environments).
Through this guided tour, learners had the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the issues involved in nature conservation and the management of snake species, and more broadly, of protected areas. This reference collection houses a wide variety of snake species, both venomous and non-venomous, in a safe environment conducive to analysis and learning.
