ERAIFT took part in the workshop on planning tools, scenarios and analysis of energy access and forest resource management for equitable development in the Democratic Republic of Congo, held from 13 to 17 November 2023 at the Hotel Sulutani in Kinshasa. Attended by members of the government, public administration executives, civil society players and representatives of indigenous peoples, this workshop, which was rich in exchanges, aimed to present the flagship initiatives and data tools available to support the integrated planning of resources ranging from forests to energy. Several tools and their operation were presented to the participants. These included : Energy Access Explorer, DRC Forest Atlas, Global Forest Watch, Forest Watcher, Open Timber Portal, etc.
