ERAIFT has taken part in the national forum on the sustainable supply of wood energy resources in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), held from October 23 to 25, 2023 at the Cercle Elaeïs in Kinshasa. Attended by members of the government, public administration executives, civil society players, the private sector and NGOs, this workshop, rich in exchanges, aimed to examine the implementation of a sustainable wood energy supply system, as part of the fight against climate change. Discussions focused on the challenges of wood energy in the DRC, regulatory challenges in the sector and financing opportunities.
