A meeting of researchers and teachers from Ghent University (Faculty of Bioscience Engineering) and Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech (Université de Liège) was held in Ghent (Belgium) on Thursday 6 July as part of the UGENT-LIEGE Alliance for Yangambi. During the meeting, Dr Raoul Sambieni presented the opportunities offered to the UGENT-ULIEGE Alliance for Yangambi by the Central Africa platform of the University of Liège.

Discussions focused in particular on the roadmap for the Alliance's future joint actions. The ULIEGE and UGENT Alliance for Yangambi aims to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in the DRC in general and in the Yangambi landscape.
