This forum was held from October 4 to 5 in Kinshasa under the distinguished patronage of the Head of State, H.E. Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, represented by the Prime Minister, H.E. Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge. This multi-stakeholder meeting saw the participation of an impressive delegation from Brazil, from the Kingdom of Morocco and numerous diplomatic missions. This strategic event for the primary sector in the DRC was also animated by various panelists: political-administrative authorities (Minister of Finance, Minister of Agriculture, President of the Senate, President of the National Assembly); donors and international technical and financial partners (World Bank, UNIDO, ADB, FAO, Equity BCDC, Rawbank, Proparco, Arise, etc.); institutional partners (FONARED, SENASEM, SNEL, ANAPI); universities and research institutions (University of Naples, INERA, IITA); private sector and economic operators (Forest International Group, Terra, OCP Africa, Fédération des Entreprises Congolaises, Plantations Huileries du Congo, CDI Bwamanda, etc.). This unprecedented meeting at the national level launches an episode bringing hope for the Agribusiness sector in the DRC.
