The Regional Post-Graduate School on Integrated Management of Tropical Forests and Lands, placed under the UNESCO auspices, has organized in its Geomatics laboratory, a training session on satellite image processing in the open access platforms: Google Earth Engine, VtWeb and SNAP. This laboratory has three main missions, including support for teaching, research and service to the community. This recent training, organized from 8 to 12 May 2023, is part of the project entitled: " Reinforcement of the capacities of biodiversity practitioners, scientists and policy makers for the sustainable management of protected areas and forest ecosystems in Africa, implemented by the AGRINATURA-ERAIFT consortium and funded by the European Union.
