From 11 to 13 December 2023, ERAIFT took part in a training session on scientific writing organised by the “Institut National pour l'Etude et la Recherche Agronomiques (INERA)” in collaboration with the “Réseau de Recherche sur les Forêts d'Afrique Centrale (R2FAC)”. The session brought together researchers from universities and research centres in the Democratic Republic of Congo. ERAIFT was represented by M. Charles Mumbere Musavandalo and M. Guelord Isulu. During the seminar, three modules were developed by two CIRAD senior researchers, Dr Vivien Rossi and Dr Guillaume Lescuyer. These are: (1) writing a scientific paper, (2) being the author of a scientific paper, (3) where to publish and how to communicate about your publications.
Practical exercises, advice and documentation were shared with participants to improve the quality of their various article projects.
ERAIFT would like to thank INERA, R2FAC and CIRAD for this opportunity to improve the quality of doctoral students' work.
