On 20 January 2025, the 40 students of the 6th year of the ERAIFT Regional Masters Program began their training for a Masters in Forest Management Techniques and in the Management of Protected Areas and Biosphere Reserves. The students come from seven Central African countries: the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Chad, the Central African Republic, Burundi, the Republic of Congo and Gabon. They were welcomed by ERAIFT staff and introduced the institutional workings of the school, followed by the first course on the basics of the systems approach.
It should be recalled that this first year (from January to December 2025) is dedicated to the acquisition of basic knowledge of the systems approach as a common core, to prepare the students well for their specialization in the second year. ERAIFT wishes the 40 new students every success in their new academic endeavors.
